GLINKA CELLO SONATA d minor
I.Allegro moderato II.Larghetto ma non troppo
Michail Glinka (1804-1857) is usually considered to be the father of Russian Art Music. The sonata, the first in Russia, was written during his learning years in Italy between 1825-1828 and unfortunately remains incomplete, with the third movement never written.
