I have been enjoying your beautiful playing immensely! I listen to it everyday with my air pods while I am at the gym!I will definitely let you know when I plan to program it. It may be for a benefit concert for a local school’s music lesson scholarship fund. They are really struggling to find money for those who applied for scholarships and have over stretched their budget. They asked me recently if I could play something and find others to help so I instantly thought of your arrangement! Hi Andreas,Thank you so much, the package arrived and it turned out to be a fantastic birthday present for myself…I listend your beautiful recording of the Schumann concerto ? in this really fantastic arrangement with string 4-tet, Bravo!! great playing.Nice to discover some interesting phrasings and interpretation in your playing.Since I won’t play very soon with my orchestra in a big hall packed with public I’m certainly going to propose this arrangement to be programmed maybe this autumnas a very beautiful alternative to the original version.Our complete symphonic program of philharmonie zuidnederland has to be changed into chamber orchestra or even smaller ensemble programs anyway.It’s nice for our cello group that we have a beautiful repertoire for cello ensemble which we did so now and than but next season more often.Intentionally I ordered your Schumann 4-tet arrangement for my students but now it turns out to be a nice present for myself, thanks a lot!!All the best,Paul~ Paul Uyterlinde Netherlands -

You have created such a beautiful arrangement...anyone who does not know this piece will never imagine it could be written for something else other than cello and quartet. It is so beautiful and thoughtful and imaginative. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I do not have a date of performance yet. I am playing it with an orchestra in London on thec28th November and will probably plan it with the quartet some time after January. We will video it and send it to you.
